Commonwealth Insurance Company is a Pennsylvania
chartered Insurance Company established in 1989. It maintains offices
at 555 City Line Avenue,
Suite 620, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania 19004.
The Company’s only business is the underwriting of Surety Bonds. We
provide any bond for any purpose; however, our specialty market is the
small to mid-sized contractor who has difficulty obtaining bonds. New
businesses, businesses short on working capital, less than perfect
companies or any other matter which presents difficulties to anyone who
needs a bond is our “niche”. No bond is too large or too small.
Commonwealth uses imaginative underwriting tailored for each specific
client. In some instances we secure an account, but unlike any other
company, we rarely require letters of credit or cash collateral. This
preserves our clients borrowing power and lines of credit. This also
allows us to provide our clients with a secure “Bond Line”. Our clients
will then have immediate bonding capacity without continually seeking
approval each time they need a bond. They will enjoy “peace of mind”
knowing that regardless of their business fluctuations or problems a
bond is always available. More importantly, they can obtain a bid or
other bond on one hours notice without any paperwork.
